Used vehicles imported into Kenya are generally required to be within 8 years from the date of first registration. Vehicles must also comply with applicable roadworthiness standards before export.
Before importing a used vehicle from Japan to Kenya, buyers should carefully check vehicle age, roadworthiness inspection, right-hand drive requirements, import duties, and the necessary documents for customs clearance.
